Terri Gregory’s Mixed-Media Art Workshops are enjoyable group experiences that allow you to visually express your true self.
Small art, big impact!
In 2015, Terri Gregory started making small mixed-media art with inspirational messaging. Soon she was selling at local markets and art fairs and started receiving requests for workshops. As a masters-level art therapist, she knows that each individual has their own unique style and motivations. To have them create their own inspirational art is much more impactful than purchasing one. In her workshops, Terri teaches her simple, “no-fail” process of combining photographic imagery, colorful acrylic paint, and motivational words to create 6” x 6” highly-personalized work of art.
It’s all good!
Workshops last about 2 hours and participants take home a beautiful and highly personalized piece of art. The fact that there is an actual item to take home is no small thing! The art is a visual reminder not only of memories of the shared creative experience, but also of positive intention for the future.
No previous art experience necessary. Participants are led step by step through the process but are given permission to “do their own thing” if desired.
Your group identifies the focus and provides the venue. Kitchens, basements, and conference rooms work well. There are also many public spaces that are appropriate for this activity. For instance, many public libraries now offer “makerspaces.” In the warmer months, consider an outdoor party.
Cost is $45 per person and includes all art supplies including prepared wooden panels, paints, stencils, magazine imagery. (Minimum five participants or $225).
